Jack Okello Ongánya is a dynamic and versatile midfielder currently playing for Sofapaka FC in the Kenyan Premier League. Beginning his football journey at Victoria Academy (2010–2015), he later sharpened his skills at Rise With Talent Academy (2015–2019) where he earned accolades as Best Player of the Season and Top Assists.
He advanced his career with Green Commandos FC (2019–2022) and Diguna FC (2022–2023), where he served as team captain and guided his team to a Division 1 Championship title. His impressive development and leadership earned him a move to Sofapaka FC in 2024, marking his Kenyan Premier League debut, where he has already made a strong impact with 5 goals and 2 assists and was voted Player of the Month.
On the international stage, Jack has received two U20 Kenya national team call-ups, reflecting his growing reputation as one of Kenya’s promising young talents.
