Jack Okello Onganya is a highly intelligent, technically refined midfielder currently playing for Cádiz CF Mirandilla in Spain, and represents one of the most promising Kenyan exports making the transition into European football.

Standing at 187cm, Jack combines physical presence with elite technical ability, making him a modern, multi-functional midfielder capable of influencing all phases of play. Since moving from the Kenyan Premier League to Spain, he has continued to adapt rapidly to the European game – showcasing composure under pressure, positional awareness,and progressive passing in a highly competitive environment.

He began his football journey at Victoria Academy (2010–2015) before sharpening his skills at Rise With Talent Academy (2015–2019), where he earned accolades as Best Player of the Season and Top Assists.

He progressed through Green Commandos FC (2019–2022) and Diguna FC (2022–2023), where he served as team captain and guided the side to a Division 1 Championship title. His development and leadership earned him a move to Sofapaka FC in 2024, marking his Kenyan Premier League debut. He made a strong impact after joining with 5 goals and 2 assists and was voted Player of the Month.

On the international stage, Jack has received two U20 Kenya national team call-ups,reflecting his growing reputation as one of Kenya’s most promising young talents.

His development pathway – from academy standout, to captain at Diguna FC, to top-flight impact at Sofapaka – has translated seamlessly into Europe. He is now refining his tactical discipline, tempo control, and game intelligence within a professional European structure. His move to Cádiz represents a major step forward, placing him in a system known for developing technically disciplined and tactically versatile players.

Jack is widely regarded as a complete midfielder with defensive solidity and attacking contribution, capable of dictating play, breaking lines, and contributing in the final third.
